SEE THE HIGHLIGHTS FROM THEIR TRIP:
Fascinated by Finland’s contribution to technology
Jinu and Meera both have more than 10 years of experience in their fields and are looking for new professional challenges.
– I heard about the job opportunities in the IT field in Turku and decided to apply. Finland’s contribution to technology, like Nokia, Angry Birds and Linux, is something that fascinates me, Jinu says.
He has over a decade’s experience in designing and streamlining ITSM processes. He has spent eight years of his career working for international companies like Shell, Philips and Capita. Besides his core competence in ITIL, Jinu is for example a black belt trained and green belt certified Six Sigma wizard with adept project management skills.
Children at their best in Moominworld
Along with the four other winners of Talent Call Turku, Jinu dived deep into the business life, nature, culture and services of the Turku region on the week-long trip in August. He was accompanied by his family.
Meera’s favorite part was the Vepsä Island day trip and learning about the Finnish education system where she believes her two children would thrive.
– Added onto those places, the Moominworld was really nice because my kids just enjoyed there. They just hugged Moomins and there were so many Moomins all around. I couldn’t have see my kids be at their best anywhere else, Meera says smiling.
